Good news for evening strollers in Brainerd — the Concerts in the Park series is back at Gregory Park, brought to life again by Brainerd Community Action and the Friends of Gregory Park. Folks turned out with lawn chairs and blankets for a recent performance by musician Trent Bergeron, filling the park with music the way it used to be.
It's the kind of simple, good thing that's easy to take for granted until it's gone: neighbors, a little shade, and someone strumming a guitar nearby. Here's hoping the series keeps its momentum and the park stays full of folks all season long.
