The water tower repainting is finished, the scaffolding is down, and the crew tells us the new coat should be good for twenty years. The lettering came out sharp and the whole thing is visible from the highway again instead of looking, in the words of one Council member, “like a soup can that lost a fight.”
Public Works thanks everyone for their patience with the lane closure on the north end, and reminds the town that no, climbing it has never been allowed, not even for a photo, not even senior year.
